From The Golden Thread Mailbag …
Saving Monthly Copywriting Genius

First up today, here’s an email from Damon, one of our members, who came up with a creative way that you can use your skills as a copywriter…

"I gotta tell you about this …

"I decided to sell off one of my horns that I wasn’t using. I wrote a sales letter about it and listed it on eBay last night with a $1,000 reserve price.

"Opening bid was $187. I just checked and the horn has already met reserve! Wow! Less than a day and the horn is sold! This [copywriting] stuff DOES work!"

And now a question from Robert B., who is new to the Monthly Copywriting Genius program…

"Scott, How do I save the Monthly Copywriting Genius critiques into a file on my hard drive?

"I enjoy reading all the issues, past and present. It’d be great if I could save them to a memory stick and have them available for my laptop or other computer while I am on the road. Please help me out here."

– Robert B.

Robert, I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying Monthly Copywriting Genius. In my opinion, it is one of our best products. An amazing teaching tool. The promotion we evaluate each month has all the clout of a "Hall of Fame" promo – and it’s current too! You can learn a lot from each issue.

Yes, some of them are very long. But there is an easy way to save them once you have logged onto www.monthlycopywritinggenius.com. Sign in with your username and password. Once inside, click on the tab that says "Current Issue." Then, click on "This Month’s Analysis."

At that point, you can, of course, read this issue online. You can also open a printable PDF version – which is what you need to do in order to save the issue to your computer.

The hard work is over …

Once the PDF is open, slide your mouse to the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Click on "File" and then on "Save as." A box will open up. Choose the folder you would like to save the issue into, name the file, and hit "Save." She’s yours to read again and again.

I hope you continue to enjoy every issue of MCG. And for those of you who don’t already get MCG, I recommend checking it out. I think you’ll agree that it’s worth every penny.

Thanks to one and all. Keep those emails coming!

Scott
