The Challenge: Write a New Acquisition Package for NewMarket Health
The Reward: $25,000, Royalties, Plus a
1-Year Contract
Would you like a shot at landing a $25,000 project (plus royalties) AND a year-long writing contract?
Jenny Thompson, president of NewMarket Health, a subsidiary of Agora Inc, has issued a challenge to all AWAI members (it doesn’t matter if you’re brand-new or have decades of experience under your belt).
NewMarket Health really NEEDS acquisition copy for all four of their flagship newsletters.
Pick one (or all four!) … and write a headline and lead you think could become one of their future controls. If they like what they see, you’ll be asked to write an entire promotion based on the headline and lead you submitted. If your package is mailed successfully, you’ll receive a flat $25,000 fee plus royalties – AND a year-long writing contract.
The deadline to submit your entry is July 31st, 2012.
By the way – Jenny isn’t limiting this to just one winner.
If she gets 10 winners, she’ll GLADLY write ten different $25,000 checks and give each copywriter a year-long writing contract!
Interested?
Get all the details … including insights about the four newsletters … directly from Jenny by listening to this brief call I recorded with just a few days ago.

IMPORTANT NOTE – 2 Things When Sending in Your Submissions
- Include “AWAI submission” in the subject line of your email to Jenny.
- Be sure to mention which of the 4 newsletters you’re writing for.
Good luck!

This is great - I see the deadline was today, so when will people know for sure whether their headline/lead has been accepted or not? If they don't hear back by tomorrow it's a no-go?
