  1. Public relations specialists are oftentimes dismissed as flacks or worse.

    Journalists and PR professionals don't always share a cozy relationship.

    The intrepid reporter resents the PR flack for littering his box with requests and invitations and appeals.

    But a good PR professional can do much more than spin the truth for a company.

    Through outreach activities, he or she can increase the credibility and visibility of the client.

    PR is a great way to establish a two way flow of communication between your client and the target publics.
