The Passion Test

Today you’ll take the final step in choosing a topic for your Money-Making Website.

But before you create your final list, we need to consider the one thing that’s going to drive your website and keep making money for years to come …

At this point, you probably have a list of 5 to 10 specific, audience-focused niche ideas that should be profitable.

But you need to ask yourself one question: Am I passionate about this topic?

Because if you’re not, your website is not going to succeed. Plain and simple. If you’re not passionate about it, you won’t be able to sustain your interest to keep working on it for the long-term.

If you don’t care about the topic … if it doesn’t get you totally jazzed … then you’re not passionate enough about it.

I’m talking about the kind of topic that is always in the back of your mind. The thing you want to write about on your weekends, in the evenings, and in your spare time.

Do any of the topics on your list make that cut?

Action Step: Look at each item on your list. Does this topic currently make your heart skip a beat?

Over the past few days, as we chose topics for our Money-Making Websites, have you concentrated on one specific topic? Has it taken up your free thoughts, or been “bugging” you all week?

Those are just a few signs that topic is the one you want to write about.

Now, you can finally narrow down your list to a few good topics that …

  • Have a specific, currently underserved audience …
  • Have multiple avenues for money-making …
  • And you’re 110% passionate about …

And then you’ve completed this first step!

You’re ready to move on to the next step in creating a passive income with a Money-Making Website! Congratulations!

Now that you’ve done all the hard work and research, the serious consideration, the intimidation is over.

After the work you’ve done this week, you’re more than ready to get started creating a passive income with your new Money-Making Website.

I know I’m ready! By going through this process with you this week, I discovered that while I am passionate about orchids and habits, they’re not the right topics for me right now. I expect that in the future, they will be. It’s okay to put aside a potentially profitable topic that you’re passionate about, and keep it for later.

The topic I chose for my first website is something completely different. It comes from my list of business ideas. It is a searchable encyclopedia of natural, at-home remedies for everything from headaches to improving concentration. I’ve been calling it, “What to Take, When.”

So now, with topics chosen, congratulations are in order!

You’re ready to move on to the next step in Nick’s How to Write Your Own Money-Making Websites program, which includes confirming the true income potential of your topic and choosing your domain name.

While I’m on the subject …

If you’re interested in taking the next step, for 7 weeks, beginning June 18th, Nick will be going through his Money-Making Website program — section by section.

He won’t just be repeating what’s in the program; he’ll share new insights, tips, and tools he has uncovered while building his own sites. He’ll also put aside time at the end of each webinar for your questions.

If you’re not a member of his program, and would like to take part in this special training series, you can sign up here. Hope to “see” you there!

  1. Many ideas have been tossed around this week, but I am most passionate in the Herbal Supplement area. I have already read and studied this area on my own for many years. The second possibility may be in a recent area I am exploring about Women and personal protective firearms/ 2nd Amendment support.

  2. So what if you know your passion, have written a ton on it for years for free (including some Kindle e-books), have hit some top Google rankings, but it is a limited market? How do you rework it to increase appeal and make the money you need to make?
