Free Travel Around the Country …
as Part of a Very Fulfilling New Job
… Has this COS Member Saying “It Feels Great!”

You never know where your copywriting training can lead you. Circle of Success member Steve McChesney secured a dream job that doesn’t involve writing – at least not directly.

Steve just landed a position as a trainer for a company called SkillPath. He teaches – what else? – the art and science of copywriting, which he learned through AWAI. He loves passing on his knowledge and experiencing different parts of the country.

“The company flies me all over to present two-day copywriting workshops. The people who attend are from major companies. They are from marketing departments, social media departments, PR, and advertising. The participants pay $900 each to attend,” says Steve.

“They not only pay me a salary but also cover all costs: plane, hotel, rental car, etc. So far I have been to Raleigh, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; Buffalo, New York; Erie, Pennsylvania; and Jacksonville, Florida. I've only just begun. They have me booked solid starting in May.”

Steve, who has worked as a cooking-show host at fairs and festivals for the last 12 years, credits his past presenting experience but especially his COS training for giving him the leg up to land this position leading workshops.

“The training and resources that I have received from AWAI has given me the education and confidence needed to shine in my new position,” explains Steve. “It feels great. It is an accomplished career in what I enjoy doing.

“COS was the best investment that I could have made in myself. The ability to study all of the areas that AWAI has to offer has been invaluable to me. Not only in copywriting, but also the web, emails, social media, e-books, the list goes on and on.

“Bootcamp builds confidence and it helps tremendously to meet the people behind AWAI and the others associated like Bob Bly, Clayton Makepeace, John Forde, and the staff from the office.”

Steve notes he gets another big bonus thanks to his new position.

“One of the perks is that I get all the frequent-flyer miles, hotel points, and rental-car points. They add up very quickly,” he says.

How’s that for glicken!

Great job, Steve. Safe travels, and thanks for showing people around the country the power of copywriting
