Copywriting Job from Scratch
When you’re a freelancer, you have your own copywriting business. Circle of Success member Shahin Dehestani took it a step farther. He’s created a successful information marketing company over the last year. He sells a program teaching authors how to publish and sell Kindle e-books on Amazon.
These days he’s earning a great income, working just four to five hours a day. And he can take time off to spend time with his wife and child … and indulge in his passion — fly fishing.
Shahin says that copywriting is at the root of all his copywriting success.
“Copywriting is EVERYTHING. Well, almost everything. I'd say about 70% of it. You see, creating the course was the easy part. Not to mention, you only do it one time and you're pretty much done. But the marketing is perpetual. I'm constantly creating new angles for emails, tweaking my products sales letter, creating ethical bribes for more email opt-ins, and positioning myself at every turn,” says Shahin.
“Just watch my videos — you'll see me pitching and reframing ideas 24/7 to get people to understand the value of my product. That's why copy clients — at least the right ones — are willing to pay a king's ransom for a decent copywriter. In the info business, copywriting IS the product AND the marketing.
Although he’s his only client now, Shahin used to take on copywriting jobs. Then he learned how to sell e-books on Amazon. He got good at it. And then others started asking him to coach them in his methods. He knew he had the potential for a money-making product on his hands.
“I first started a YouTube channel, which then led to the creation of my first info-product: Six-Figure Publishing. The course was a HUGE success and has allowed countless individuals to make full-time and part-time incomes with my strategies,” says Shahin, who also offers coaching and critiquing services.
