Happening in March
AWAI’s CELEBRATING THE WRITER’S
LIFE Contest

We’re celebrating The Writer’s Life this month … and the folks who are living it … with a fun contest I hope you’ll be part of.

It’s easy. Just do what you do best – Write!

Specifically, write a post on your Facebook page about the best part of your writer’s life. Add pictures if you have them. Or, even shoot and upload a little video if you’d like. Be sure to make your post public, tag us at @AmericanWritersArtistsInc and include the hashtag #writerslife.

Here’s a little inspiration if you need it … These folks are living the writer’s life to the fullest!

We’ll be running this Show Us Your Writer’s Life contest throughout March. On April 3rd we’ll pick our favorite entry and send the writer a GoPro. We’ll also arrange for him or her to be featured on the cover of an upcoming issue of Barefoot Writer.

Help us celebrate your writer’s life! Help us show others how fulfilling and rewarding (and fun!) this life can be.

Good luck … Can’t wait to read your post!

  1. Katie, I wish I could enter your contest this month, but I haven't been at this long enough to start a new Facebook page yet.
I am closing my "Shih Tzu Rescues & Adoptions" page/website I've been running for the past 5 years, though, (https://www.facebook dot com/shihtzumania ) and maybe I'll be able to invest in more AWAI stuff, like Heather's great SEO program.

Will look forward to showing off my new Facebook & Website next time you run this event, though :-)

  2. I wrote the copy on my own website almost twenty years ago. Approximately ten years ago, my wife landed a work from home part-time job with Google. In the course of that job she discovered content from my website was plagerized and appeared on almost two hundred other websites around the world. No greater satisfaction (except income) comes from knowing my writing was considered by so many to be worth stealing and appropriating.

  3. I just submitted an entry for the contest. I'm not sure I tagged it correctly. Is there any way I can make sure you received it?

  4. A great opportunity, and a wonderful inspiration to get me started. Thanks for the challenge. I'm on vacation, so this will be fun.
