Hello, I'm Kay and I'd be happy to tell you about my writing background. I've always had a knack for, and enjoy both technical and creative writing. After years of music school, I changed direction and chose to study writing. I earned my BA degree in print journalism from the University of Montana-Missoula in 2002. My professional writing background includes newspaper reporting, freelance writing, web and copywriting since 2005. I currently write about outdoor sports and fitness for an online sporting goods company, but I've also written professional online copy for a number of other subjects including health and beauty, real estate, the ski resort industry, and more. Published newspaper writing includes everything from county government, to the environment, to arts and entertainment.
In addition to being a copywriter I teach and play violin professionally.
Besides all that, I'm a home-based mother of three, and enjoy traveling, movies, spending time with my family, and learning new things every day.
