Professional Background:
I spent almost eight years working as a freelance article writer for companies such as Yahoo Voices, Demand Media and LoveToKnow.com.
I discovered freelance writing as a more profitable and dependable income source after launching a retail website back in 2006. My home furnishings website was starting to pick up steam when the Great Recession hit, and sales dropped dramatically.
I earned my diploma as an interior decorator in 2013 and shortly after, took the retail site down to focus full time on writing articles.
In early 2018, I took a leap of faith to help a family member with a real estate investing business. It’s where I learned the most about marketing before re-educating myself to become a copywriter.
Real estate wasn’t quite the right fit for me, and mindset is everything. I chose Personal Development as my writing niche because it resonates perfectly with my core beliefs.
