Door #1 or Door #2? As Dan Kennedy sees it, there are only two choices for your future. If you select Door #1, you are in control, and over a relatively short time you move from chasing money to having money chase you. You build your future on a solid foundation.
If you go with Door #2, everybody else is in control, you never stop chasing money, your reality stays as it was at the very start, your journey is circular not progressive, and insecurity gnaws at you more with each passing year.

According to GetResponse’s 2010 Email Marketing Trends study, 53.8% of businesses plan to focus on email personalization this year. The next-biggest focus? 52.4% intend to improve email headlines and subject lines.
Another big trend, according to the survey, is video email marketing. Last year, only 15.7% of responders used video. In 2010, more than 80% plan to do it. And, finally, a whopping 90% plan to integrate social media into their email marketing campaigns.

The hallmarks of a successful copywriter include, according to legendary adman David Ogilvy:
- Obsessive curiosity about products, people, and advertising.
- A sense of humor.
- A habit of hard work.
- The ability to write interesting prose for printed media, and natural dialogue for television.
- The ability to think visually. (Television commercials, in particular, depend more on pictures than words.)
- The ambition to write better campaigns than anyone has ever written before.
