Exploring Your Time & Values

Watch Video

Does the way that you spend your time match up with what you value most in life?

As your writing career grows, it can be tempting to build your schedule and goals around what others do – or what you think you’re “supposed” to do.

But AWAI Chief Success Officer, Ted Capshaw, urges you to take a closer look at what you truly want to do with your time. And to make sure that what you’re doing every day will get you closer to living a life that matches with your core values.

Watch today’s Monday Morning Jumpstart as Ted and AWAI Director of Training, Jade Trueblood, continue the conversation about Ted’s Five Pillars of Vision – delving into Pillar #2: Time and Pillar #3: Values.

If you missed it, here’s Pillar #1: Legacy

  1. I feel like I am focused but ...
I value contentment and the ability to do the things I want to do and not be stifled by the money issue. Adventure and physical things are very important to me and have been doing nothing but working/learning at this time.

  2. This subject came into my life at exactly the right time. Lots of changes happening for me right now and I am considering all of this. Whats most important to me and what lights me up hits the nail on the head for me.

I want the rest of WHAT I WANT IT TO BE.

I have been stuck with my writing niche or even what I want to write about.

Heavy thinking happening for me and doing the work to get to the right answer for me.
