PROFIT at Our Next COS Town Hall

One of the things we advise at AWAI is to treat your writing business like … well, a business.

And, as the CEO of your business, you need to know what numbers matter and why.

For instance …

  • how much you’re really making per hour,
  • where your profits are actually coming from, and
  • which clients or projects deserve the most focus.

In Tuesday’s COS Town Hall, Megan Olson — CPA and tax accountant turned bookkeeper for freelancers and solopreneurs — is going to join us for a conversation about how having a handle on certain metrics within your business will give you peace of mind as well as more control over your time, your projects, and more.

We’ll also have the wonderful Jen Adams, Director of The Professional Writers' Alliance (PWA) — whose financial roots have helped her navigate so many changes to her own freelance business over the years.

Jen is not only an incredible advocate for our COS members, but she’s also a successful freelancer everyone in our community should know.

Plus, we'll do our usual check-in with you and your fellow COS members, providing updates on what we're excited about and giving "shout-outs" for the big and little wins that make these meetings so fun and inspiring.

So mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 14, at 1 p.m. ET for our next COS Town Hall …

You’ll find access on your COS member page.

And, if you can’t make it live, don’t worry …

We’ll record it and can answer any remaining questions you have over in the Facebook group.

But we do hope you’ll be there!
