My background is varied. I used to be a medical librarian and did lots of medical research, but I'm also very creative.
I used my art portfolio to get commercial art jobs, but people also wanted copy, so I wrote copy as well.
I've also edited stories, articles, website copy and spiritual books. I prefer editing and improving copy others have written, but can also do the job from scratch including the research that may be needed.
My experience includes writing abstracts, books, brochures, content for websites, magazines, newsletters, newspapers plus policy and procedure manuals.
